题目要求：用你身边的事例说明“天生我才必有用”（There must be a use for my talent.）。
另外就是英文基本功的短缺，我们这些在所谓传统教学法下走进大学的人至少不会把true写成ture,不会把smile写成smell,不会把prize写成price。而如今这些学生竟然在这些最最基本的方面错得一塌糊涂。有人写When I repaired the computer, my teacher smelled.有人写He won the first price.如果只是个别现象尚且罢了，但一天的阅卷竟然只发现有少数几个把true拼对的，让人难过。
（1）There must be a use for my talent
One day, the teacher ask me to enter his office. I’m very surprised. Because I’m only a ordinary student.（逻辑的混乱，难道普通学生就不能进老师的办公室么?）When I entered into the office, teacher said, “I hope you do me a favor.” “Me?” I said. Teacher said, “Have you question?” （Chinglish）“No sir”, I replied.
“I know you had learned computer. So I hope that you type a writing for me”, teacher asked. I said, “I do.”
After the matter(Chinglish), I know I can help teacher as well. At last I understand the proverb that is “There must be use for my talent.”
（2）There must be a use for my talent
My friend, Lee, was not born for books and papers. He could never get good marks however hard he had tried. His teachers considered him a stupid student could never achieve anything. But he did succeed, which surprised all of us.
Although he was not interested in his studies, he really had a talent for music. I once learned playing the piano with him. I noticed that he had a good ear for music. Lee had few friends due to his poor performance in school. So the piano became his best friend. He kept playing the piano everyday. His parents decided to send him to a music school. It was not easy to pass the entrance exam. But he made it, while lots of “good students” failed.
There was a use for Lee’s talent. Although he was not perfect, he managed to take the advantage of his ability. I am sure there must be a use for everyone’s talent.
